About our first speaker and founder, Deborah Razo
Always an independent spirit, Deborah started her first business in 1990. After owning and partnering in several successful small businesses, she realized that her path to financial freedom was through real estate investing.
In addition to her UCLA’s business degree , Deborah expanded her investing education in 2011 with a series of intensive workshops with Robert Kiyosaki, The Rich Dad Advisors and The Real Estate Radio Guys.
With her first house flip netting near $100,000 in profits, her business took off. Her strategy of flipping houses in California for capital and buying and holding for cash flow in other markets for long term wealth has proven to be a success.
Deborah has a flare for fixing and flipping properties, from purchase, rehabbing, marketing and sale processes to tools and techniques for locating properties, analyzing market values, crafting offers, negotiating, budgeting, assembling teams, hiring contractors, staging and marketing the sale for profit.
Deborah began purchasing foreclosures in the Memphis, TN area and now owns single family homes there and multifamily apartments in Tuscon, AZ.
She is currently focusing her energy on partnering with investors seeking financial freedom through the acquisition of single-family and multi-family assets.
About our speaker, Reba Haas
Reba’s high energy and enthusiasm sends a charge whenever she walks into a room. And it’s this same energy and drive she channels into getting results for her clients. Her background in high tech sales, selling to companies such as Microsoft, created her well-earned reputation as a top sales performer and excellent communicator. As the lead agent of Team Reba since 2003, she’s helped buyers and sellers achieve the price they’re looking for by negotiating effectively, while always working to protect their financial interests.
Reba brings a multitude of skills and expertise into real estate transactions. With 13 years in the tech sector in both manufacturing and software, she began developing skills in contract negotiations, she has transferred this skill set into real estate providing a depth of knowledge not typically seen in the industry. Her goal is to educate and protect her clients during a transaction. She listens to and works within client’s parameters to find the right fit and then works aggressively to meet those goals. Her client base includes residential clients, as well as real estate investors purchasing single unit to 20-unit apartment complexes and she is a real estate investor herself with 7 rental units currently in her portfolio, and with experience in flipping properties and working with builders. Besides working full time in real estate, she also hosts the radio program Open House With Team Reba, a program about real estate and mortgage currently airing on Tuesdays from 3-4pm on KKOL AM1300.
Rebecca lives by a “give before you get” philosophy, motivating her to donate to charity a portion of her commission from each successful transaction. She is a proud member of the National Association of Realtors® as well as an active member in her community, Chamber, education and charitable organizations. Sure Rebecca’s all about business, but the next time she pulls up in that kicky red convertible of hers, just remember she’s also a lot of fun to work with.
